Frequently Asked Questions

What is Rian's process like?

Rian generally starts her work by sketching thumbnail layouts to send to editors for approval. She then scales up the rough sketch to transfer it on a bigger, cleaner paper using the light table. Afterwards, Rian does a light watercolor wash to lay the flats out then detail the painting further by using gouache and markers.

Does Rian Gonzales have original art and signed prints for sale?

Yes, Rian has original art, signed comics and prints available for sale at her online store. Rian is not represented by anyone and takes care of the art sales herself so please verify before buying original art advertised elsewhere outside of her websites.

I can't seem to find the artwork I'm interested in. Are there more art available that's not listed in the store?

If there is a piece you are interested in that you don’t see in the shop, don't hesitate to contact us! Most original art are sold first on Patreon before it's made available to the public. You can sign up as a member there if you want first access to commission slots and paintings. There is also a chance that the artwork may have already sold or it might not have been listed yet. Is Rian available for commissions?

No, Rian is not taking personal commission requests at the moment. Furthermore, commission slots are made available first to clients on her Patreon so don't hesitate to check that out if you're interested on updates when she opens requests!
